Michael Kamara is the Director of Training and Career Development and a Senior Civil Servant in the Sierra Leone Civil Service. Graduated with a Bachelor of Science First Class (Hons) Degree (Environmental Sciences from Njala University College and holds an MSc Degree in Development Administration and Planning from University of London (University College London). He has over a decade experience working on Civil Service reforms and managing people. Prior to him joining the Civil Service he worked as a Consultant for Rough Patch Trust, UK and also for Public Administration International in London United Kingdom.  He was also a Local Consultant and a Project Officer for the government of Sierra Leone for over 5 years at the Governance Reform Secretariat and has worked as a Technical Coordinator for the Sierra Leone Civil Service on the World Bank Pay and Performance Project for the government of Serra Leone for nearly 9 years. He is the current Chair of Mambabu Projects Sierra Leone, as well as a member of Sierra Leone YMCA.
