GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
A) Undergraduate/Degree Programme Requirements
The University’s requirements for the Degree Programmes include:
i. Five (5) WASSCE Credits including English Language in not more
than two sittings. In the case of the West Africa Examinations Council
Examinations, only grades varying from Al-C6 for WASSCE will be
accepted depending on your performance on the interviews. For the
Associate Examinations Board (London GCE) only “C” grade or better
is recognized.
ii. Holders of HND/HTC with four (4) WASSCE Credits including English
Language and/or Mathematics in not more than two sittings as
specified by departments/programmes.
In addition, applicants must satisfy faculty and departmental requirements for admission into the various faculties and departments (please see specific entry requirement for your proposed programme). Applicants should note that some faculties start their Honours Programmes in the 3rd Year provided the candidate meets the desired requirement. All students are admitted into general programmes. To be eligible for the Honours Programme, a student must have a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 3.60 at the end of second year. In addition, a student must have scored a minimum average “B” in the core courses to be invited into honours programme.
